The position As a Vice President, Multi Omics Analytics, you will be a key leader in Novo Nordisk’s Data Science efforts.
You will drive activities developing and deploying Artificial Intelligence (AI) multi omics solutions in drug development. Your responsibilities will include: • Lead a cross-disciplinary department of multiple teams to deliver on the value of diverse bioinformatics Omics modalities, acting independently as a leader, framing and diving innovation and project intiatives • Collaborate closely with other AI/ML peer leaders to ensure delivery on a portfolio of projects across multiple therapeutic areas and data modalities, covering all aspects of Clinical Development • Manage the Vice President area ensuring that budget and business targets are met • Frime and drive long- and short- term strategies and innovation plans for the use of bioinformatics and Omics within Novo Nordisk • Participate in developing and executing global strategies for the area Qualifications To be a competitive candidate, you should have: • MSc degree or Ph D within computer science, mathematics, engineering, physics, statistics or any other related field • Experience within related areas with strong leadership and people management skills • Experience with the use of omics (genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics and/or metabolomics) for drug development • Proven track record of creating business results with impact on VP levels and above • Experience working in international and diverse professional settings • Extensive experience with communication, presentation and publication of technical topics As a person, you have excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills, combined with an ability to make decision and set direction.
