The position As a Senior Outsourcing Professional, you will be part of a fantastic team of Clinical Outsourcing Management of 12 people. You will be responsible for: • Driving the clinical outsourcing process for a specific therapy area, from request for proposal to signed contract in close collaboration with our Global Trial Portfolio teams, Corporate Procurement, Legal and external suppliers. • You will manage supplier relationships as well as supplier related risks and take part in integrating the clinical outsourcing strategy in the development projects. • Day-to-day operation is a varied mix of above responsibilities and includes a high degree of interaction with both internal and external stakeholders. As a part of Global Trial Portfolio your main office will be at our site located in Søborg, Denmark, but you might experience some travel activity. Qualifications Your background covers a Bachelors or master’s degree within life sciences.
To be successful in this role, you should have: • At least 5 years of eexperience from sourcing, or a position closely related to vendor management within the pharma or clinical research industry. • Skilled within supplier interactions, and you understand the clinical development disciplines. • You have flair for details and an interest in improving or simplifying processes. • A strong command of written and spoken English • And if not all, then part of the above and an eagerness to learn, bringing your experience, effectiveness and independence from previous jobs. You are a team player and used to working in international and diverse professional groups, and you have a strong interest in business perspectives.

About the department Clinical Outsourcing Management supports Novo Nordisk’s Global Trial Portfolio projects in driving and executing the clinical contracting process from request for information to signed contract, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
We are responsible for contracting and supplier management within the clinical area and for securing a strong clinical sourcing infrastructure.
You will be part of the Clinical Outsourcing Management team called Outsourcing Planning & Project collaboration which consist of 12 dedicated colleagues.

Global Trial Portfolio are responsible for managing development worldwide from early clinical trials to product introduction.
