The job As an Associate Manager you will lead a support team of academics, laboratory technicians and operators.
Moreover, you will play a key part in developing your team and continuously improve performance as well as delivering excellent results.
Apart from that, you will also have the responsibility for coordinating and prioritizing resources and tasks in the team to ensure fulfilment of our ambition to obtain more capacity and a stable laboratory performance. In addition, you will be part of an effective management team who works closely together and takes a joint responsibility of the development of the department.
You will work closely with your management colleagues on day-to-day operations and people management related matters.
Your key responsibilities will be to: Ensure EM support to productions Set objectives and targets for your team Lead the team by developing competencies, coaching, and training the employees to ensure the right composition of skills to address future needs Oversee and manage day-to-day operations and long-term planning of resources Secure quality and compliance of product and process Drive your leadership with a LEAN mindset Qualifications To succeed in this role: You preferably hold a Master’s in biotechnology or equivalent and have at least 3 years of leadership experience.
Experience with pharmaceutical production and/or laboratory processes.
Ideally, you have experience from GMP regulated production As you will be working closely with stakeholders across our organization, you have excellent written and spoken communication skills in English and Danish.
As a person, you have strong analytical skills with an interest in systematic problem solving.
You are structured and proactive in your work and will never compromise on quality.
To succeed you need to be able to keep calm and make decisions in a busy work environment, where the agenda changes frequently.
As a leader you see and match your employees needs and ambitions, where you naturally adapt your leadership style, ask curious questions and are able to communicate on all levels of our organization.
About the department Our department is part of Insulin Manufacturing (IM1), which is a full production line.
We are 5 teams, 3 QC teams, 1 QC innovation team and an EM team.
In the EM team we do all necessary EM work for the production and makes sure all quality and regulatory demands are met in due time.
Our approach to EM work is structured, stakeholder focused and highly focused on improvements in everything we do.
Our new Associate Manager will be responsible for leading a dedicated and high spirited team and making sure everyone feels included so we get access to all the knowledge and know-how that everyone in the teams possesses.
