Apply today to make your mark and for a life-changing career The position As Senior Tactical Capacity Partner, your primary responsibility is to facilitate informed supply decisions within GCMD, crucial to supporting the long-term growth of Novo Nordisk over the next 1 to 10 years.
You will play a pivotal role in driving, standardizing and improving the execution of the S& OP process in GCMD.
You combine a solid understanding of demand flows impacting our production networks with a detailed knowledge of production capacities at our CMOs to derive the optimal mid-term demand/supply plan.
You succeed in doing so by extensively collaborating with Operations Managers in GCMD and the central Supply Chain team of Novo Nordisk.
You can look forward to: Business impact: You ensure internal alignment and management sign-off of production volumes for next 3 years for product platforms managed by GCMD.
Complex analysis: You derive S& OP production volumes from structured analysis of demand flows and CMO capacities.
You ensure that key supply chain risks are mitigated.
You develop an analytical backbone (e.g.
BI) to support your work.
Facilitation and stakeholder collaboration: You orchestrate stakeholders from GCMD and from Central Supply Chain organization.
You become the point of contact for S& OP questions in GCMD.
Continuous improvement: By using LEAN and digitalization and by understanding key stakeholder needs, you standardize and improve the execution and governance of the S& OP process.
Broad exposure: You support and act as sparring partner for other key supply chain processes (e.g.
long-term demand/supply process) to ensure alignment across planning horizons and robustness.
Qualifications To be successful in this role, we believe you: Hold a master’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or alike.
Demonstrate thorough and end-to-end understanding of core tactical supply chain processes, preferably in a complex manufacturing setup.
Possess strong analytical skills, supported by proficiency in BI tools (Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI…) Display proficiency in both spoken and written English.
On a personal level, you have a passion for creating connections in a complex, multi-layered stakeholder landscape.
You excel at building trustful relations while also defining clear expectations.
You can easily adopt your approach based on stakeholders and business needs.
You enjoy processing large amounts of data, keeping an eye for the critical details and distilling complex information into a simple overview.
You find energy in improving recurring processes striving for efficiency and effectiveness.
About the department GCMD is a unit in Novo Nordisk of over 200 colleagues managing a growing network of over 50 contract manufacturers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality components for medical devices to internal production sites.
You will join the department of GCMD Operations Management, responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration across internal GCMD functions (Ops, Technical, Quality…) towards our contracts manufacturers.
The department is also in charge of securing long-term capacities and of supporting capacity expansion projects from an operations and supply chain perspective.
