We are looking for a new manager to join our leadership team and take responsibility for the secondary packaging Design Control Team.
The team consist of currently seven senior employees, highly skilled within the field of design control and quality specification and with a can-do attitude towards challenging status quo to support process optimization.
The position The most crucial part of the job is to ensure that all relevant design control documentation for secondary packaging complies with relevant standards and authority expectations.
Additionally, that our quality specifications secure product quality for secondary packaging materials and packed product.
This has direct and immediate impact on Novo Nordisk business globally and the team are involved in both development and maintenance activities across the whole Novo Nordisk secondary packaging product portfolio. As the new Manager for Design Control, you and your team are responsible for Expanding the support function to QC test methods for printed packaging materials - it is a new area within Sec Pack, where you will need to develop a strategy and implement it together with the team Risk Management and Quality Specification of secondary packaging for marketed products in Novo Nordisk Conducting verification activities for products owned in the team Supporting production sites globally in relation to sec pack design, quality & test methods incl.
expert evaluation of deviations impacting product quality Secondary packaging documentation in authority inspections and submission for marketed sec pack products in Novo Nordisk Receiving product ownership of new Sec Pack products and platforms from DDS (Device R& D) to DMD Challenge status quo to identify and implement solutions to support not only the optimization and digitalisation of Sec Pack processes but also the overall strategy for the sec pack area Practice a LEAN mindset Lead your team according to NNWay You will be part of the small yet effective Sec Pack leadership team, which consists of a Sr.
Manger and two Managers.

Our stakeholder landscape is complex and includes all production sites globally, QA, DDS (Device R& D), Regulatory Affairs, Strategic Sourcing and suppliers and Capacity Expansion amongst others. Qualifications We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications: Master’s degree within Engineering, Business, Natural Sciences, or other relevant scientific discipline Gx P production from pharmaceutical settings or other regulated industry Support tasks and projects preferably in a global setting Ability to receive, simplify, and communicate complex information and see through it to take decisions. Strong communication skills both in spoken and written English Leadership experience combined with leadership toolbox is desirable You are a good fit to the team if you have a supportive and solutions-oriented mindset, a curious and a helpful attitude and enjoy a good laugh even when being in stressful situations. About the department You will join the Sec Pack Maintenance team, part of the Packaging VP area in Device Manufacturing Development (DMD) supporting packaging of Novo Nordisk finished products, In Sec Pack our main task is to safeguard, optimize product OEE performance, and maintain the secondary packaging for our medical devices combination products and drug products marketed by Novo Nordisk.
Our team has a close and important cooperation with stakeholders across the whole company; Production sites, QC, Device R& D (DDS), RA labelling etc. In DMD we are bridging product development to production and driving development and standardisation of new, smarter packaging processes.
Furthermore, we are responsible for establishing packaging capacity worldwide for new and marketed products in compliance with current regulatory requirements and in close interaction with the Novo Nordisk global production sites.
We have an end-to-end presence from device development to production implementation and support to running production. DMD Packaging department is situated in Hillerød and consists of around 100 employees divided into different teams.
