Novo Nordisk is seeking a dynamic Assistant Project Manager to join our expanding team in Kalundborg, where we are investing DKK 42 billion to enhance our manufacturing facilities for chronic disease treatments. This is our largest investment project to date within the company. The Position The Assistant Project Manager is an important link between stakeholders and is responsible for clear communication, alignment, and coordination of deliverables.
You will develop and prepare executive information to influence critical decision-making in the project.
You will also be responsible for driving best practice standards and knowledge transfer across our global portfolio of projects. As Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with the PCVP (Project Corporate Vice President) of the project, who is overall responsible for the project execution of our new Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturing facilities, which will increase production capacity of life-saving medicine for our patients worldwide.
You will also be part of the Project Management Office, who works across our global portfolio to provide learnings, data and training to project teams. In this role, you will be responsible for: Close collaboration/liaison with the PCVP in all aspects of a project delivery. Close collaboration with the Project Management Office, driving best practice standards, sharing of learnings and supporting building new capabilities across our portfolio. Developing and maintaining executive-level reporting, presentations, and engaging with the communication team. Have direct interface with senior management, both within and outside the project Stakeholder management across production, project, externals, and the Novo Nordisk organisation. Drive project management meetings and ensure follow-up on key deliverables. Execute various ad hoc tasks for the CVP and provide sparring. Qualifications To be considered for this position, we expect you to have: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as project management, finance, business administration or similar.
An advanced degree would be advantageous. Experience with project management methodologies, tools, and techniques. Experience in a comparable role within senior management support, project management or similar. The ability to effectively prepare presentations and deliver them to different groups of stakeholders. Fluency in English, verbal and written. Additionally, your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to convey ideas clearly and engage with others.
You possess the ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders, and drive initiatives and changes independently.
You have a high drive and is comfortable with solving tasks and challenges within new areas of expertise.
Your high level of flexibility makes it easy for you to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new challenges.
Moreover, you have a strong ability to build relationships and find it easy to collaborate with individuals from diverse backgrounds and to work cross-functionally. About the department The project is located in Kalundborg, Denmark, where we design and build future API facilities as multi-product facilities.
